Apply for the Werner von Siemens Award 2025

The Werner von Siemens Award aims to recognize outstanding talents in academia – students, researchers, and educators – who contribute to science and society through their dedication and work. The competition reflects the current needs of the times, supports creativity and innovation, and also pays tribute to educators who often remain in the background. With independent evaluations by leading academic figures and a rich tradition, the Werner von Siemens Award ranks among the most respected and prestigious accolades in the Czech Republic.

Since 1997, more than CZK 17,400,000 has been awarded to 490 students, teachers, and scientists, and we are committed to continuing this effort.

Award Categories:

• Best Master's Thesis – prize up to CZK 55,000

• Best Dissertation – prize up to CZK 70,000

• Most Significant Achievement in Basic Research – prize up to CZK 300,000

• Best Bachelor's Thesis – prize up to CZK 50,000

Anyone can also nominate a winner and receive a reward of CZK 10,000.
Applications must be submitted by November 30, 2025.
