1:00 PM
Speakers: David Horal (Nation Conservation Agency Of The Czech Republic), Vladan Riedl (Soutok Protected Landscape Area)
The confluence of the Morava and Dyje rivers is one of the most valuable natural areas not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe. Water plays a key role here, with a network of river branches, wetlands, pools, floodplain meadows, and riparian forests. This area of exceptional biodiversity is home of 900 species of vascular plants and hundreds of species of rare animals. Come and hear how we plan to care for the landscape of the Moravian Amazon.
