File an application

When filing an electronic application (no other form of application is possible), you will also check the conditions for admission to the programme you chose.

A separate e-application must be filed for each programme. You can choose no more than 3 specialisations within a single programme; you can only be admitted to one of them, based on the order of priorities you chose. The fee for one application to SCI MUNI is CZK 800. You can file any number of applications you wish, but you must pay for each of them separately.

Open Doors Day

You will surely use the opportunity to visit the Open Doors Day at our Faculty. You will find all you need about the admission procedure and learn about the Faculty’s premises and background. Presentations will take place in both of our buildings: physics, mathematics, geology, geography and anthropology will be presented at Kotlářská 2, and the biology, chemistry and biochemistry programmes will be introduced at the Bohunice University Campus.

Application for waiver of the entrance examination

Applications for waiver of the entrance examination can be submited not later than by 28th February 2026. By that date, you also have to state this fact in your e-application.

The Dean’s statement on waiver of the entrance examination will be published in your e-application by 23rd March 2026.

Foreign nationals (except for Slovaks) applying for studies in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programmes in the Czech language, whose entrance examination has been waived, are obliged to prove their knowledge of the Czech language by passing an examination in Czech language at the B1 level according to the ALTE Framework not later than 14th June 2026.

from 16th February 2026 to 26th April 2026 (Brno and other cities) 

You have the option, not the obligation, to take two attempts – one in each block. Choose the date so that it does not collide with another entrance exam.

You will see your percentile no later than 30th April 2025 in your e-application.

You can find the decision on admission or non-admission in your e-application. 

Enrol in studies

At the same time with the decision on admission to study, an invitation to enroll will also be published in the e-application. You cannot choose the regular date of enrolment; the enrolment will take place online. You will become a student of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University upon enrolment. If you cannot enrol for study, you need to apply for a substitute date by an e-mail sent to the Office for Studies.
