All students may check into their original halls of residence that they made the reservation for.
All students checking into the MU halls of residence must fill in the electronic form before entering the territory of the Czech Republic (https://plf.uzis.cz/). This form has to be submitted also during the border control or the controls during the stay in the territory. Arriving persons are obliged to undergo a PCR test in the Czech Republic within 5 days from the arrival and must submit a negative test result through an online application https://is.muni.cz/auth/koronavirus, if required to do so (that is coming from a risk country).
The free movement on the territory is limited for 10 days after arrival.

The Czech national team achieved an extraordinary triumph at the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO 2025), a prestigious competition for high school students from around the world. The event, held in Jining, China, from August 7 to 17, 2025, tested both theoretical knowledge and practical skills across disciplines such as geology, hydrology, climatology, astronomy, and environmental science. In addition, the competition evaluated research capabilities and teamwork.
