The Novo Nordisk Prize recognizes active scientists for their outstanding international contribution to the development of medical science. The award is intended to recognize and further support biomedical research in Europe.
The financial reward is DKK 5 million (approx. EUR 672 000) and consists of a research grant of DKK 4.5 million (approx. EUR 605 000) and a personal award of DKK 0.5 million (approx. EUR 67 000).
