Site Visit hosted by our Faculty
Summer in our HR team wasn’t about ice cream—it was about preparing for the Site Visit. How did we do when the evaluators came? And what does a day like that actually look like?
The Masaryk University (MU) Faculty of Science Awards for 2023 were presented to 13 personalities. Excellent teachers of natural sciences and mathematics, faculty graduates and cooperating schools and institutions were all awarded on the basis of nominations from the various Faculty of Science Departments. The Awards were presented by Dean of the Faculty of Science Tomáš Kašparovský, together with MU Rector Martin Bareš, as part of the Garden Festival at Kotlářská on 18 September 2023.
The MU Faculty of Science educates both future scientists and teachers of natural sciences and mathematics. The faculty has been trying to bring these fields closer to the general public for a long time, as have a number of teachers at secondary and elementary schools, our graduates and faculty partners.
As our faculty puts high value on the difficult work of the teachers and cooperating schools and companies with which it has long been cooperating, this year it decided to reward some of these personalities with a new Masaryk University Faculty of Science Award under the categories of outstanding teacher, alumni, cooperating school and cooperating institution.
We heartily congratulate all the awardees.
